Susan B. Martin Scholarship

Susan B. MartinThis scholarship is in memory of Susan B. Martin. Susan was the first female President of the Idaho Chapter of the American Fisheries Society and served in this capacity during the 1986-1987 term. Susan spent her career as a scientist and manager and had a tremendous impact on the management of natural resources. Susan also had a powerful influence on the development of many natural resource professionals. Susan passed away on September 15, 2008, in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, after a two-year battle with cancer. This scholarship is intended to continue Susan's legacy of fostering the development of scientists and is awarded annually to a graduate student attending any school in Idaho.
