Student Units

The American Fisheries Society provides many services to students interested in fishery resources and aquatic ecosystems. One of these services is the opportunity to participate in student units. Student units, which are sponsored by chapters, are organized at the university level and provide students with a wide range of professional development and service opportunities. The Idaho Chapter sponsors two student units.

Palouse Student Unit

The Palouse Student Unit is located at the University of Idaho in Moscow, Idaho, and serves students attending the University of Idaho.

The Portneuf Student Unit is located at Idaho State University in Pocatello, Idaho, and serves students attending both Idaho State University and Brigham Young University-Idaho.
