Student Units

The American Fisheries Society provides many services to students interested in fishery resources and aquatic ecosystems. One of these services is the opportunity to participate in student units. Student units, which are sponsored by chapters, are organized at the university level and provide students with a wide range of professional development and service opportunities. The Idaho Chapter sponsors three student units.

Palouse Student Unit

The Palouse Student Unit is located at the University of Idaho in Moscow, Idaho. The Palouse Unit was the first student unit in the Idaho Chapter.

Portneuf Student Unit

The Portneuf Student Unit is located at Idaho State University in Pocatello, Idaho. The Portneuf Unit was the second student unit in the Idaho Chapter.

BYU-I Student Unit

The BYU-I Student Unit is located at Brigham Young University-Idaho in Rexburg, Idaho. The BYU-I Unit was the third, and newest, student unit in the Idaho Chapter.
