Overview

The primary task of the membership committee is to facilitate communication between the Chapter’s Executive Committee and the members of the Idaho Chapter of the American Fisheries Society. The membership committee maintains an email distribution list and distributes information via email at the request of the Executive Committee.

Mission

The mission of the Membership committee is to facilitate rapid and efficient communication between the Executive Committee and the members of the Idaho Chapter of the American Fisheries Society

Goals

The committee will seek to accomplish the mission through the following goals:

Goal 1: Distribute information to Chapter membership within 24 hours of receiving a request from the Executive Committee.
Goal 2: Maintain privacy of Chapter members.

Updated and organized email distribution list to facilitate efficient maintenance.

It would be nice to develop a database of Chapter members that could be cross-referenced to email addresses. It is not readily apparent how to identify individuals whose emails give no hint to their true identity.
